Lateral Moves

I have felt that in the constant desire to "Move forward," music has become too obsessed with technology. I decided to challenge myself by writing and recording music with the most basic tools - a 30+ year old drum machine, stock guitars and amp, inexpensive pedals, and I didn't "Lock to the grid" on Pro Tools.
This "Lateral move" has yielded a huge step forward for me.
